F.A.Q.
What's the difference between a Glue Kit and a TIght Fit Kit?
A Glue kit, also called a beginner kit, fits loosely such that gluing is required to hold it together. This is great for beginners or those who are not great with building things with their hands.
A Tight Fit kit, also called an Advanced Kit, has been cut in such a way that the parts and pieces fit together much tighter and glue is not required. This is good for more experienced builders as some parts do have a risk of breakage if care isn't taken.
What's the difference between a Deluxe kit and a standard kit?
For the organizers that offer a deluxe option, this usually means extra laser-etched art on the organizer. Standard kits do not feature etched art, though some of my standard kits do have outlined art. This does NOT apply to part/component labelling or any labelling used to identify storage.
Can I still use glue on an Advanced or Tight Fit kit?
Yes, you can. While I've designed them to withstand most drops, if you feel the need, glue can be used to make them even more sturdy.
Do you do custom orders?
I have done custom orders before, but it really depends on the game. If the game is relatively new, is not modular, and has all the available content readily available are much easier for me to so 'yes' to. If a game is out of print or not commonly found in stores, I'm more likely going to pass.
"What if I send you MY copy of a game?"
Well, I suppose we could figure something out. Usually, designing an organizer takes a few months, after which I need a month to design instructional manuals. Spending this time is necessary for me to make sure the organizer works well for gameplay, setup, and storage; this isn't just about fitting everything into a box for me. During this whole project I would need to have access to your copy. If you're willing to let go of your game for that long, I can certainly do a custom order for you.
Do you sell digital files of your organizers?
At this time, I have no plans to sell digital files of my organizers. For 3d printers, my design files won't do you much good anyway, I design everything in 2 dimensions in Adobe Illustrator; there are no .stl files.
Help! My minis don't fit great.
Because of the manufacturing process of most minis, there are often slight variations from miniature to miniature. If you find your mini doesn't fit well in it's spot, I have a video on safe miniature reforming here down in the videos section.
What's your favorite board game?
